Should You Seek Sleep Support?

Seeking Sleep Support isn’t exclusively about “sleep training” your baby.

Although, this is often why people reach out - and I do support many families with this goal. I like to think about seeking support as a means to gain knowledge, feel empowered and thrive in your parenting journey.

Sleep Support is about embracing a holistic approach and optimising areas that can better support sleep including:

  • Environment

  • Nutrition

  • Attachment

  • Routine

  • Sleep balance

  • Temperament

Ask yourself: are all things sleep-related working for you and your little one right now? Do you have questions about sleep that you can’t easily answer?

The most common questions my clients come to me with are:

  • How do I best settle my baby/toddler to sleep?

  • What are some strategies for longer naps or overnight stretches?

  • How long should my child be sleeping?

  • When should I drop a nap?

  • What do I do when my child has a sleep regression

  • Is my child tired or bored?

  • Should I use white noise and/or other sleep aids?

  • Why does my baby wake so early?

If some (or all!) of these questions are circling in your mind, I have two options to help you navigate this tricky season of parenting:

  1. A Newborn Sleep Course

This course will help you understand the why and how of newborn sleep. You will learn how to support your newborns’ sleep, how to optimize your own rest and how to create good sleep hygiene for the whole family.
