Our online occupational therapy (OT) services are here to take the burden of *not knowing* off your shoulders (because that stuffs heavy).

Tracy, our occupational therapist is here to support you.

As our children grow it can become more challenging to parent them in the way that feels best to us. Our goal at Woodlands Collective is for you to feel connected with your child, support their development, manage power struggles and big emotions. We want you to have the confidence to create peace and predictability in your home.

We have an incredible clinician Tracy as part of our team. She can support you if you have questions or concerns around your child’s development. She is exceptionally skilled if your child is not thriving in childcare settings. Tracy is able to work with families and daycare staff in assessing the environment and developing a plan for inclusive programming. If there are concerns, often children are not diagnosed until they reach closer to entering school, which can be stressful for families. Whether families are pursuing a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, neurodivergent challenges or you have questions or concerns around your child's development, we can help!

Services available to families;

• Functional assessment and review of children's developmental milestones for early detection of any concerns

• Individualized and a goal oriented plan for parents to implement in the home for optimal teaching, learning and connection with your child

• Strategies and recommendations for families and caregivers in order to create environments where children can thrive 

• System navigation if required (i.e funding agencies)*

Services available for childcare centers;

• Environmental consultation for sensory friendly spaces

• Inventory list of sensory friendly equipment

• Workshops for professional development including education on foundational principles of sensory integration, universal design strategies and common developmental patterns to know when to refer on 

• Professional development workshops available on request; lunch and learns, in person education sessions, virtual education settings (please email Tracy for further details, tracy@woodlandscollective.ca)
